Istanbul Translation Agency has been founded by Mert Elver- a certified translator and translation expert in Istanbul Courthouse, who has had approximately 10 years of experience in translation sector, getting the chance to work at companies leading their field such as Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Turkish State Railways, Security General Directory, Arkas Holding, Fenerbahçe, Pinebridge Asset Management, Tommy Hillfiger, Workcube, Avon, Huawei, Turk Telekom and Digiturk as well as celebrities including Banu Güven, Kumi Naidoo, Köksal Holoğlu, Fatih Altaylı, İzzet Çapa and Lord Desmond Forbes.

After completing his primary education at Bahçeşehir College and then Yesilkoy 2001 College, Mert Elver continued his secondary education at Kabataş Erkek Lisesi where he graduated in 2005 and studied business at Marmara University and philosophy at Boğaziçi University respectively. Despite the fact that he received an acceptance from Vienna University during the time period when he was taking German courses in Austria, he chose to return to Turkey and started working as a certified translator after gathering all of his translation works in one place.
